Indeginisation, is it reaally necesary?

Ever since indegenisation began have seen a lot of companies and industries in Bulawayo shutting down or crumbling. This involves our very best companies which are really necasarry in the Bulawayo business sector. These companies include Dairi board, Merlin, Mornach, Alpha steel and many other companies rhat are owned by foreigners.
Kasukuwere and his guys visit the company for their 51% share, the next thing the owner sells the company and relocates to Europe or wherever they come from. The company will be then run by a board of directors of which a few weeks down the line the company will be filled and controlled by workers from Harare which im not sure will be professionals or relatives and friends of the board members. This automatically will mean the replacement of the original workers, some will be retrenched, others demoted, and others just have to find thir ways out because the company will be shutin down.
We need to take into consideration that we are talking about breadwinners here and people looking forward to their packages. We might also want to consider that the Act is meant to benefit the Community where the indegenised company is, not to make them miserable. As a result, the Bulawayo industry is now ruins as industries and companies are shutting down and never coming back, no one is therefore benefiting here in Bulawayo, not sure about Kasukuwere and his guys.
Does this mean something wrong is happening or it is implemented wrongly, or rather is it necessary at all? Lets discuss

  1. i thnk it is ironic how indeginisation is supposed to empower us but instead it does directly the opposite. Definately something to be worried about.
